Abstract | Direction finding phenomena basically is used to locate the radio signal sources. The significant parts of these systems are to design an antenna which is supposed to be wideband, improved Gain, compact size, light weight, low cost and directive. In this paper, we design circular microstrip patch antenna of different modes (TM11, TM21, TM31 and TM41) with best return loss and bandwidth. The proposed antenna structure is composed of best modes of circular Microstrip patch Antennas which are stacked on each other to form a directional beam for Direction finding purpose. By comparing return loss and bandwidth of circular micro strip patch antenna with and without Ring phenomena, along with this we compare the Return loss, Bandwidth, Gain and directivity by introducing 2- feeding point and 4 feeding point’s concept. The conclusion is drawn that by applying the ring phenomena we achieved batter return loss and bandwidth as compared to without ring and further more by introducing four feeding point technique improved Directional beam is achieved as compared to two feeding point Technique. The design is suitable to be used for Direction finding for unmanned Ariel vehicle. |
